The Hawaii Dept of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has a website where consumers can look up professional service providers and businesses to verify their professional license status, check complaints, etc. The purpose of the outreach is to build awareness for consumers to use the website to protect themselves from doing business with pros/businesses in bad standing with the state or previous customers.
