MAINE ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS APPOINTS TIM MOORE AS PRESIDENT/CEO

The Maine Association of Broadcasters has announced the hiring of Tim Moore as its new President and CEO.

Moore served as VP/Programming for iHeartMedia New Hampshire until earlier this month when his position was eliminated as part of the company’s ongoing cuts. He spent a decade with iHeart after previously spending the majority of his career in Maine including 21 years in Portland programming AC 94.9 WHOM and CHR “Q97.9” WJBQ. He also worked in Bangor at WKSQ-FM and in Columbus OH. During his tenure in Maine he was a member of the MAB Board of Directors, former Board Chair, awarded the inaugural Broadcast Achievement Award in 2010, and inducted into their Hall of Fame.

Moore fills the opening created by the death of Suzanne Goucher earlier this year.
